Richmond Massage is a friendly, professional massage clinic in the heart of Richmond upon Thames. We are passionate about helping our clients relieve pain, recover from injury, improve their wellbeing and feel their very best. Our clinic enjoys a central Richmond town location, just a short walk from Richmond Station and easily accessible by all major transport links.
Over the years, we have become an established and trusted clinic within the local community, building a large and loyal client base while continually welcoming new clients through our reputation for delivering the highest standards of massage therapy in Richmond.
We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Massage Therapist to join our established clinic for 20–30 hours per week.
Working Hours
Our preferred working pattern is:
- Saturday and Sunday, with the successful candidate willing to work up to 10 hours per day, with some flexibility to work additional hours during the week.
The Role
You will work independently within our established clinic, treating a varied client base ranging from those seeking relaxation to clients with sports injuries, chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
A full induction and training on our clinic procedures will be provided before you begin treating clients independently.
Essential Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Professional, reliable and friendly.
- Compassionate and genuinely passionate about helping clients improve their health and wellbeing.
- Confident working independently.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Covered by appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance for self-employed practice.
- Physically fit and able to consistently deliver high quality Deep Tissue Massage treatments throughout the working day.
You should also have:
- A thorough understanding of human anatomy.
- Previous experience treating clients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
- Excellent practical skills in:
- Sports Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Swedish Massage
- Experience in delivering a variety of massage and bodywork treatments.
Desirable Qualifications
Training or experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Foot Reflexology
- Pregnancy Massage
- Gua Sha Therapy
