Salary: £25,989 to £27,254 per annum pro rata

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of Business Support Officer.
This post will predominantly be supporting Early Help, however you may be asked to work across other Children and Families teams. We require a motivated Business Support Officer with good communication and customer care skills suitable for dealing with a full range of professionals from both within North Yorkshire County Council and external organisations.
This is a part time role with the flexibility to work in a hybrid fashion. However, on occasions you may be required to work at an alternative location helping cover the Children and Families Hubs.
You will need to be a conscientious, flexible and well-organised person. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as well as the ability to work unsupervised and as a member of a team. You will need to have proven word processing skills/experience and be competent in using software packages including Excel and learning the EHM system.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential together with a strong commitment to confidentiality of personal information, as well as knowledge of Data Protection and Information Security. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential as well as being able to prioritise your own workload, work to tight deadlines, be conscientious, well-organised and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as effectively working as part of a team.
You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
