An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Police Station Accredited Representative or experienced Criminal Paralegal to join a well-established and highly respected specialist Criminal Defence practice.
This boutique firm has built an excellent reputation within Criminal Law and offers a supportive and close-knit working environment. The team consists of experienced criminal practitioners who are passionate about delivering high-quality legal representation and providing exceptional client care.
The successful candidate will play an important role within the Criminal Defence team, attending police stations, supporting fee earners on a range of criminal matters and assisting clients throughout the progression of their cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending police stations and representing clients under the Police Station Accreditation Scheme
- Providing support on a varied caseload of criminal matters
- Liaising with clients, police officers, courts and third parties
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
- Taking instructions and maintaining accurate case records
- Assisting fee earners with case preparation and file management
- Ensuring high levels of client care throughout the matter lifecycle
Requirements:
- Police Station Accreditation is essential
- Previous experience within Criminal Defence
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A genuine passion for Criminal Law
