Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment across various premises. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Driving and use as a car is an advantage.
We are looking to recruit for both our specialist Airbnb/STR, end of tenancy teams and commercial as well as our new domestic cleaning portal. We do offer a mixture of variety, so you can work across all sectors if desired.
Flexibility is both offered and required with our main operating hours being between 9 and 3pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned spaces
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is well-maintained
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning requirements or issues
- Report any maintenance needs or hazards promptly to management
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is desirable but not mandatory
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between sites
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- DBS will be required (we will cover the cost for employees)
