This is a vital role within our operation. Our hygiene team are the backbone of the factory, ensuring that every production area is cleaned, sanitised and ready for the next day. Without you, we can’t operate. As we expand, the need has come for hygiene to be here during the day and night

The Role
As a Day Hygiene Operative, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and sanitising production and staff areas. This includes but is not limited to:
· Sweeping floors
· Ensuring PPE is full at all times
· Keeping chemicals for cleaning and handwashing full
· Physical fitness and the ability to perform muliple manual cleaning tasks.
· Flexibility to handle various cleaning duties depending on production needs.
· Attention to detail to adhere to strict hygiene standards
Your work ensures:
- Our factory meets strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Equipment is cleaned thoroughly and safely
- Production areas are fully prepared
- We remain compliant with BRC and customer quality standards
You’ll work methodically, safely and efficiently, following cleaning schedules and SOPs, while supporting your team to maintain high standards throughout the site.
What We’re Looking For
- Hygiene Experience essential
- A strong work ethic and pride in doing a job properly
- Good attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A good understanding of health & safety (experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential — full training provided)
Most importantly, we want someone who understands how important this role is to the wider operation.
