Health care assistant required to work in a home care company. Areas we cover are Knottingley, Beal, Birkin, Womersley, Whitley, Eggborough, Kellington, Brotherton, Sherburn & Monk Fryston & Tadcaster
You will be attending to the needs of our clients in their own homes. This will include personal care, meal preparation, admistering medication, some cleaning and welfare checks. Our clients are all over 18 years old and have a range of medical and physical conditions, this could be elderly and frail or Autisum.
We also attend day services with clients and do social outings.
This is a really varied role and no 2 days are ever the same.
You will be required to use your own vehicle for work, for which you will be paid a petrol allowance of £2 per call including going to your first call of the day.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ALTERNATE weekends. With a generous work life shift pattern. FULL TIME WORK ON A 4 ON 4 OFF this enables a good balance.
You must be able to work between the hours of 7am - 10pm.
Rate of pay is £12.50per hour a (Mon - Fri). Weekend is £13.00
Travel time paid at full hourly rate.
Full training given. Willing to train the right candidate.
