We're recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, growing contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the South West. With a strong pipeline of work, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with a progressive business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects.
- Control project costs, budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
- Procure and manage subcontractors, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Prepare applications for payment and monthly cost reports.
- Monitor commercial risks and change control.
- Work closely with project teams, clients and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
- Experience delivering new build construction projects, preferably high end
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong reporting, forecasting, and financial management abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence
