We are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join our school. This position is starting as soon as possible after 10th September.
The school caters for children and young people who have a wide range of ability. All pupils are provided with an exciting, balanced education which will be appropriately paced and designed to meet their individual education needs.
The role:
- Supervise pupils ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented
- Aid the execution of education plans suitable to each pupils’ learning objectives.
- Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding.
- Promote class interaction and ensure pupils engage throughout the lessons.
- Create an interesting environment for students.
- Assist pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids.
- Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
- Work 1-1 with a year 2 child with an EHCP.

This is a long-term, full time position but we can accommodate early finishing- 3pm on most days if required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay.
