Job Summary
Join our small, dynamic team as a Label Rewinder, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing of label materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a modern print environment, utilising your mechanical skills and attention to detail. As a Label Rewinder, you'll be responsible for rewinding labels to meet quality standards, supporting the overall production flow and maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reliable and detail focused Label Rewinder Operator
- Reports to the Production Manager
- Working on the shopfloor moving, lifting, and rewinding label reels.
- Working with the printer and studio as part of a team
- Following job bag instructions and converting larger printed reels of labels into the correct size reels as required by the customer, label, box and ship.
- To inspect each reel for quality, print defects and compliance to customer guidelines.
- Follow precise rewind and packing instructions and work with attention to detail.
- To fulfil all requirements by ensuring your working area is kept tidy and you work to all company H&S guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in material handling, print production, finishing or a warehouse environment an advantage.
- All training to be done in house
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic maths skills for checking reel sizes and quantities per order.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Working to precise customer instructions
- A positive attitude with good time keeping
- Willingness to learn other duties in the print room and studio, over time.
Hours & Holidays:
- Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
- 20 days holiday per year plus public bank holidays
- Holiday increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days, plus bank holidays
- You get your birthday off work on full pay
- Overtime is not a guaranteed but will be available from time to time to cover for colleagues’ holidays or during busy periods. Rate of pay; time and a half will be paid for all overtime.
- Paid monthly on the last working day of each month.
