Restaurant Manager
We are a welcoming, family-owned pub with a strong reputation for great food, warm hospitality, and being at the heart of our local community. We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and enable us to continue to grow while maintaining the personal touch we’re known for.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional service, smooth operations, and a happy, motivated team. You’ll work alongside the General manager, assistant manager and kitchen team, playing a key role in shaping the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
- Deliver consistently high standards of service and hospitality
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure excellent food service
- Manage staff rotas, holidays, and team development
- Handle customer feedback professionally and positively
- Maintain health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene standards
- Support stock control
- Help drive the business forward while keeping its family-run ethos
About You
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up
- Passionate about food, drink, and genuine hospitality
- A natural leader who leads by example
- Calm, organised, and confident in a busy service environment
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods
