Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. Applicants MUST have their own transport due to rural location
Working days are Thursday 2-9pm (Optional) Friday 2-9pm, Saturday 2-9pm and Sunday 12-8.30pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure smooth operations during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels within your section, communicate needs for replenishment, and minimise waste
- Develop new dishes and improve existing menu offerings
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety protocols
- Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory
