Job Function:
To assist the Finance team in the smooth and efficient financial management of the business through transactional accuracy.
Duties:
- Posting and allocation of daily bank receipts
- Cash Book update and reconciliation
- Cash flow forecast update
- Upload of sales invoices to confidential invoice discounting system.
- Netsuite input of Cash Book Payments
- Coding of overhead invoices
- Netsuite upload of overhead invoices
- Suggested weekly payment of suppliers
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Validate and approve employee expense submissions
- Manage submission and approval of company credit card expenses and business mileage submissions
- Confidential invoice discounting reconciliation
- Multi-currency bank and cash reconciliations
- Training
Abilities & Skills:
- Accounting Technician Qualification (AAT) - minimum level 3
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements with recent experience in a similar role.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and well organised
- Able to develop effective relationships with work colleagues
- Oracle Netsuite or similar experience desirable.
- Competent IT skills, confident user of Microsoft excel with strong data manipulation skills
- Highest standards and levels of accuracy, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Candidate must be resilient and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced finance environment. They should also be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
