The Benjamin Foundation is looking for an organised, engaging, and people-focused Training and Development Officer to lead and support learning opportunities that strengthen the skills, knowledge, and confidence of our employees and volunteers across Norfolk and Suffolk.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our organisation, ideal for someone who thrives on designing engaging learning experiences, building capability, and supporting a culture of continuous professional development to make a lasting impact.

The Role
You'll lead on coordinating training and development activity across the organisation and our social enterprises. You'll work with managers and colleagues to identify learning needs, organise and deliver engaging training opportunities, oversee learning systems and records, and help build a culture where development is valued across the organisation.
What we are looking for:
- A confident communicator and engaging facilitator
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Creative and thoughtful in designing effective learning experiences
- Experienced in training, learning and development, coaching, or a similar role
- Comfortable using digital learning platforms and training tools
- Passionate about helping people grow and develop
You'll also share our values and bring a positive, solution-focused mindset aligned with the Nurtured Heart Approach®.
Requirements
- Ability to work at least 1 day per week from our Norwich office
- Ability to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk (car and business insurance required)
