Radiotherapy Technology Services (RTS) sits within the Radiotherapy Physics section of the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering, part of the Oncology Clinical Service Unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The team is made up of four specialist groupsClinical Computing, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Technical Serviceswho work closely together in multidisciplinary workgroups to support the safe and effective use of radiotherapy equipment. The atmosphere is highly collaborative and innovative, bringing together clinical expertise and scientific problem-solving to manage equipment, introduce new technologies, and ensure seamless service delivery. The team’s strong work ethic is centred on precision, reliability, and continuous improvement, all with the shared goal of enhancing patient care.
Our Clinical Computing team consists of 4 highly-skilled Clinical Technologists who are committed to enhancing patient safety through their technical expertise and knowledge of our high risk, critical radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery systems and workflows.
