About WOOOF
WOOOF is a fast-growing online destination for some of the most exciting dog products from around the world.
We curate products that make life with dogs better — from enrichment and play to walking, feeding and everyday essentials — and we're looking for someone brilliant on camera to become the face of our TikTok LIVE channel.
This isn't a traditional social media role. We're building a live shopping channel for dog owners: part presenter, part product expert, part salesperson and part entertainer.
The Role
You'll host regular TikTok Shop LIVE sessions from our Oxfordshire studio, demonstrating products, answering customer questions and turning viewers into customers.
Think modern-day shopping channel — but for dogs, built for TikTok.
You'll need to be comfortable talking naturally for long periods, reacting to comments in real time, keeping the energy of a LIVE moving and confidently recommending products.
A typical day will include around 5–6 hours of LIVE presenting, broken into sessions, alongside preparation, product selection, short-form content and reviewing performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Hosting engaging TikTok Shop LIVE sessions
- Demonstrating dog toys, enrichment products, accessories and new launches
- Talking confidently and naturally to viewers
- Answering sizing, product and customer questions live
- Presenting bundles, offers and LIVE-exclusive promotions
- Learning the WOOOF product range inside out
- Working with dogs during product demonstrations
- Testing different products, formats and offers to improve performance
- Reviewing LIVE sales, conversion and engagement
- Creating short-form clips and promotional content around LIVE sessions
- Sharing customer feedback and insights with the wider WOOOF team
Working Pattern
This is a four-day role working approximately 32 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday.
The role includes regular evening and weekend work because these are some of the most important trading periods for TikTok LIVE. Your salary reflects this working pattern.
A typical shift will combine preparation, breaks and approximately 5–6 hours of LIVE presenting, with schedules built around the periods when our audience is most active.
Monday to Wednesday will normally be your days off.
Salary & Bonus
£28,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience, for a four-day / 32-hour working week.
You'll also have access to a monthly performance bonus linked to TikTok LIVE sales performance, with realistic total earnings of approximately £33,000–£38,000+ for a strong performer.
The bonus will reward commercial performance such as sales generated per LIVE hour rather than simply time spent online.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to have worked in social media before.
We're much more interested in whether you're:
- Naturally confident and engaging on camera
- Warm, quick-thinking and good with people
- A strong communicator who can talk without sounding scripted
- Comfortable selling and recommending products
- Able to maintain energy across longer presenting sessions
- Commercially minded and motivated by targets
- Happy working Thursday–Sunday, including evenings
- Genuinely interested in dogs and the products we sell
- Comfortable working around dogs in the studio
- Reliable, organised and excited by the pace of a growing business
Experience in presenting, acting, retail sales, hospitality, events, radio, content creation, livestreaming or other customer-facing roles would all be highly relevant.
TikTok LIVE experience is a bonus, but it's not essential. We can teach the platform. Personality, confidence and sales instinct are much harder to teach.
What Success Looks Like
We won't judge this role simply by how many hours you spend LIVE.
We'll look at things such as:
- Sales generated per LIVE hour
- Conversion rate
- Orders per hour
- Viewer engagement and watch time
- Product performance
- Returning viewers and customers
You'll have the freedom to experiment, learn quickly and help shape the WOOOF LIVE format as the channel grows.
