We're launching a brand-new fish and chip shop in the heart of Waverton, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, driven and hands-on Shop Manager to lead our team from day one. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping a brand-new business, creating an outstanding customer experience and building a team that customers will love coming back to.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year's management experience within a fish and chip shop, takeaway, restaurant or similar fast-paced hospitality environment (essential).
- Is a confident and inspiring leader who can motivate a team.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Can remain calm under pressure during busy service periods.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Has a strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety and stock management.
- Is reliable, proactive and takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the front and back of house teams.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the shop.
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment and training.
- Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency remain at the highest standard.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders and minimise waste.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
- Help drive sales and ensure the business operates efficiently and profitably.
- Lead by example and support the team wherever needed.
