We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across Llandudno. This flexible role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure students remain on task and complete the work provided.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning while following school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student behaviour.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, coaching, or similar setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A confident, professional, and adaptable approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The right to work in the UK.
