ABBA Cakes is looking for passionate, experienced bakers to join our growing bakery team in Chester. We are seeking both full-time and part-time bakers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing exceptional cakes and baked goods to the highest standard.
As an award-winning and rapidly expanding bakery, we are looking for hardworking individuals who are creative, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate cakes and bakery products to a high standard
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and quality standards consistently
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards at all times
- Support the team with daily bakery operations
- Ensure products are beautifully presented and meet company expectations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods and holiday seasons
- Assist with stock rotation and ingredient preparation
Requirements
- Previous professional baking experience is essential
- Experience working in a commercial bakery or cake production environment preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Food Hygiene certification is an advantage
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak holiday periods
