Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Florist to join our team on a flexible basis. This role involves designing and arranging floral displays for various occasions, including Funerals, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be positive and friendly and integrate into our team and they will also possess a passion for floristry, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and excellent customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to beautiful floral creations that brighten our clients' special moments.
Responsibilities
- Designing and creating floral arrangements for events, funerals, retail bouquets, and bespoke orders
- Serve customers in our high street shop
- Ensuring smooth running of the retail shop e.g ordering flowers
- Take customer orders over the phone and via our website
- Be comfortable using IT
- Delivering bouquets and funeral orders as required in our shop van
- Delivering and setting up event flowers at offsite locations
Requirements
- Proven experience in floristry.
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and plant care techniques
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Basic Maths for dealing with money, costing up floral displays, measuring etc
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Passion for creativity, colour coordination, and visual merchandising
- Full, Clean driving license
- This can be a high pressure environment with high deadlines so good time keeping is essential.

Pay: £14.60 per hour
