Project Coordinator
Overview
The Project Coordinator role is designed for individuals developing their career in construction management. You will work closely with experienced site and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in delivering construction projects safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers structured training and development with clear progression opportunities. Please note that this job requires flexibility, working away from home on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist site managers with the day-to-day running of construction projects
- Support coordination of subcontractors, labour, and materials
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and briefings
- Help monitor project progress and report updates to senior staff
- Ensure site activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Assist with site inspections and quality control checks
- Learn to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction programmes
- Help manage site documentation, including RAMS, permits, and reports
- Support procurement and delivery of materials
- Carry out general administrative and site support duties
- Assist with day to day working operations where required
Training & Development
- On-the-job training with experienced managers
- Exposure to all stages of construction projects
- Opportunity to work towards relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC/HND, or degree) (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS in future)
- Support in gaining industry certifications
Skills & Experience
- Interest in construction and project management
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work both on-site and in an office environment
Qualifications
- GCSEs (including Maths and English) required
- A-levels, college course, or construction-related qualification (desirable but not essential)
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: £23,000.00-£26,400.00 per year
