Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional DPD Franchise Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering parcels efficiently and safely to customers within designated areas. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in delivery or warehouse environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport parcels to various locations within the assigned route.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Assist with loading and unloading parcels, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety during all driving activities.
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Commercial driving experience, including handling of large vehicles such as lorries or vans, is advantageous.
- Warehouse experience involving heavy lifting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £110.00-£125.00 per day
