HGV Delivery Driver
Tamar Trading Company Ltd is a well-established and respected family-run business with five trading branches across Devon and Cornwall.
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Delivery Driver to join the team at our Bodmin branch.
Duties
- Deliver goods to customers and sites safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Load and unload goods, including manual handling where required.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid CPC qualification.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting when required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
Industry experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. A HIAB certificate would be advantageous; however, training will be offered to the right candidate.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 5:00 & alternate Saturday's, 08:00 - 12:00.
