We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista to join the team at Stori Brymbo. The role is for 30 hours per week on a rota with a fabulous team.
This isn't your typical café role. Stori Brymbo sits at the heart of a unique heritage, community and visitor destination that celebrates the story of Brymbo's industrial past while helping create a brighter future for the local community. Every visitor who walks through our doors becomes part of that story.
As part of our team, you'll do much more than serve great coffee. You'll help create a warm, welcoming space where local residents, volunteers, families, tourists and community groups come together. Working within the Charity you'll be part of a team that genuinely makes a difference while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffees, teas and other drinks
- Providing outstanding customer service to every visitor
- Serving food and maintaining food safety standards
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages people to return
- Supporting community events and activities when required
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Working closely with colleagues and volunteers as part of a positive team
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a friendly, approachable and positive personality
- Enjoys talking to people and building relationships with customers
- Has previous barista or café experience (preferred but not essential)
- Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Works well as part of a team
- Is reliable, flexible and takes pride in their work
- Shares our values of community, inclusivity and respect
- Is able to work on a rota with a team that includes weekends and some evenings
