Part-Time Cheesemonger Crouch End, London
Come join the team - we are looking for a confident individual with a flair for warm customer service and enthusiasm for all things food and beverage (no prior cheese knowledge is required). We have an 8 hour contract available, If you are eager to learn and get stuck in we would love to hear from you.
As a cheesemonger your responsibilities will include:
- Cutting and wrapping cheese
- Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
- General cleaning tasks to ensure shop standards are maintained
- Providing a premium service to our customers, assisting with product recommendations and pairings
A few things we ask of you:
- Enthusiasm for the world of F&B and to learn about cheese
- Availability to work over the festive period – we expect commitment and availability from all our staff at this time
- Availability across days/hours a week – please discuss your availability further with the hiring manager during interview
- Previous retail and/or hospitality experience is desirable
- An energy and flair for providing exceptional customer service
- A self-starter and team player you’ll enjoy working as part of a small team
- Proof of right to live and work in the UK

Interview process – what to expect:
We aim to review applications within 3-5 to working days. If you are selected, we will arrange an introductory online interview. You should expect to discuss your relevant work experience and interest in the role. If successful, second stage interviews will be held on sight with Retail Manager.
