The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Bank Physiotherapist to join our Therapies Department, working flexibly across our inpatient weekend service. This role covers a diverse and stimulating caseload, including:

Orthopaedics
- General surgery
- Intensive care
- Oncology
- Respiratory care
- Aquatic therapy
- Prehabilitation
You will work autonomously as an HCPC‑registered clinician, undertaking comprehensive assessments, delivering tailored treatment programmes, and evaluating patient progress. You’ll contribute to high‑quality physiotherapy delivery, collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe and effective practice in line with CSP and HCPC guidelines.
Participation in the weekend rota is required, and involvement in the respiratory on‑call service may be included depending on experience.
What We Are Looking For:

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience in acute inpatient settings
- Broad experience across respiratory, medical, surgical and orthopaedic caseloads
- Strong communication, time‑management and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complex caseloads
- Evidence of continued professional development
Desirable:

MCSP membership
- Band 6 level experience
- Experience within the private healthcare sector
- Experience working with oncology patients
- Participation in an on‑call respiratory rota
