Full-time – London Fields / Mare Street, East London
About the role
We are building a new kind of hospitality space in Hackney. A curated kitchen and bar programme where guest chefs, bartenders and collaborators take over the space for short residencies, events and experiences. The concept constantly evolves through pop ups, dinners, tastings and private events.
We're looking for a Bartender to join our team.
This is not a traditional bartending role. Alongside our core drinks programme, you'll work with a rotating programme of guest bartenders and collaborators, helping deliver changing cocktail menus, wine events and unique guest experiences.
Working closely with our Restaurant Manager, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering consistently excellent drinks and service. We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys engaging with guests and takes pride in delivering a great experience.
About the space
The venue is an intimate kitchen and bar on Mare Street, centred around an open kitchen, a lively bar and counter seating. While the food and drinks programme changes regularly, our standards, hospitality and guest experience remain consistent.

Bar operations
- Prepare the bar before service and restock throughout the shift.
- Receive deliveries and rotate stock correctly.
- Assist with stock counts and help minimise waste.
- Keep the bar, equipment and customer areas clean, organised and ready for service at all times.

- Complete opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is ready for the next service.

- Follow all licensing, food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue.
What we're looking for

- Confidence preparing classic cocktails, serving wine and working efficiently during busy services.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excited by working with guest bartenders and evolving drinks menus.
Wine knowledge is a bonus but not essential.

About us
We're the team behind Crudo and Tiny Wine, two independent hospitality concepts we've built in London over the past few years.
Crudo opened in 2019 and has grown into a group of restaurants built around modern Latin American food, strong atmosphere and warm, energetic service. Tiny Wine came out of our love for smaller, more intimate drinking spaces, with a big focus on personality, curation and creating a place people genuinely want to spend time in.
A big part of what we've learnt through both brands is that people come back for more than just the food or drinks. They come back for the feeling of the place, the team behind it, and the sense that something thoughtful is being built.
Rocola Studio is the next step in that. It gives us the opportunity to create a more flexible space built around a changing programme of guest chefs, drinks collaborations and events. A space that can evolve constantly, while still being run with a clear point of view and strong operational standards.
We're excited by the idea of building something that feels social, current and full of life. Somewhere guests want to return to regularly, and somewhere bartenders and collaborators are genuinely excited to be part of.
