Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work station in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Consult with clients to understand their styling needs and offer expert advice on suitable haircuts, styles, colours, or treatments.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring minimal waiting times for clients.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing and barbering.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and responsibly.
- Promote additional services or products that may benefit clients’ hair health or style.
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment.
- Skilled in hair styling, cutting, colouring, and barbering techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy work area.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is essential for clear communication with clients and team members.
