Job Summary
We are seeking a Trainee Equipment Technician to join our small, hands-on and growing team. This role is ideal for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and pride in doing a job properly.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of a wide range of safety-related equipment including (but not limited to) fire extinguishers, ladders, fall protection equipment, PAT testing, confined space equipment, lifting accessories, and other safety-critical equipment.
This is a trainee role, and full training will be provided. No previous experience is required — however you must be keen to learn and develop. You must be reliable, proactive, and able to think for yourself.
We are a practical business. Our MD is still on the tools, and everyone plays their part. There is no “that’s not my job” mentality. You need to possess a can-do attitude, be honest and work effectively with the rest of the team
We are based in Blackburn, but we do travel nationwide to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays.
