Are you a skilled Van or Light Vehicle Technician looking for a better workshop, better equipment and a company that values good mechanics?
Gordon Transport Solutions Ltd is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Light Vehicle / Van Technician to join our busy team.
THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vans and light commercial vehicles, carrying out everything from routine servicing and inspections to fault finding and more complex mechanical repairs.
You’ll be working alongside our HGV team, so there is plenty of opportunity to broaden your experience and work on a varied fleet.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has solid experience working on vans / light commercial vehicles
* Can confidently diagnose and repair mechanical faults
* Is experienced with servicing, brakes, suspension, steering and general repairs
* Can carry out accurate fault finding
* Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
* Can work independently but is also a good team player
* Has a positive attitude and good work ethic
* Holds a full UK driving licence
* Level 3 qualification / equivalent experience preferred
