About the Role
Are you passionate about food and eager to start your culinary career? Sodexo is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Commis Chef to join our catering team at Sevenoaks School.
This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You'll work alongside experienced chefs, helping to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals for pupils, staff, and visitors.

What You Will Do

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high quality meals.

Learn a range of cooking techniques and kitchen skills from experienced chefs.

Support food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hospitality events.

Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.

Assist with stock rotation, storage, and delivery checks.

Help ensure all dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed.

Work collaboratively as part of a busy and professional kitchen team.

Participate fully in apprenticeship training, assessments, and reviews.
