We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic person to join RAW Kids Gymnastics as our new Coaching & Operations Lead.
This is a varied part-time role combining children’s gymnastics coaching with the day-to-day organisation that helps keep our classes and Kinning Park location running smoothly.
You’ll coach approximately 11–12 of our classes each week, alongside dedicated time for operational and administrative responsibilities.
What will the role involve?
You’ll be responsible for a mixture of:
- Delivering fun, engaging and structured RAW Kids gymnastics classes
- Helping manage the day-to-day running of our Kinning Park location
- Coordinating the regular coach rota and arranging cover when required
- Supporting and communicating with our coaching team
- Responding to routine parent enquiries across our Glasgow locations
- Following up trials, attendance and member check-ins
- Keeping an eye on class numbers and highlighting anything that needs attention
- Making sure the gym is organised, stocked and ready for classes
- Completing a simple weekly clean/reset of the gymnastics space
- Keeping the owners updated on how classes and operations are going
The working pattern
The role is 20 hours per week, primarily across Monday–Thursday, with coaching sessions taking place Tuesday–Thursday.
The full working schedule and coaching hours will be discussed at interview.
One of the big benefits of the role is flexibility. While coaching hours are fixed, a proportion of the administrative work can be completed flexibly and from home.
We’re much more interested in finding someone organised and proactive who gets things done than having someone sitting at a desk for set admin hours.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Brilliant with children
- Reliable and organised
- Confident taking initiative
- A strong communicator with both parents and coaches
- Positive, friendly and professional
- Comfortable managing their own workload
- Confident delivering structured classes and managing children’s behaviour
- Happy working both independently and as part of a wider team
Previous experience in gymnastics, coaching, children’s activities, education, childcare or a similar setting would be an advantage.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and would like to take on more responsibility within a growing children’s activity business.
Salary: £13,520 per annum
