Duties
- Assist roofing specialists with material handling, including loading and unloading supplies and equipment
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers
- Support the installation of roofing materials by handing tools and supplies to skilled workers
- Operate power tools and hand tools under supervision, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials such as shingles, plywood, or metal sheets safely and efficiently
- Follow schematics and construction plans to support roofing installation and fabrication tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and conducting routine site inspections
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction sites, tools, and safety procedures is preferred
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, or fabrication is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently
- Familiarity with roofing processes or masonry work is advantageous but not required
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of schematics, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry can enhance your contribution on-site
- Prior construction experience or related training is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
