Job Summary
We are seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team! In this role, you will cover a wide range of construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Your expertise across multiple trades will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, hands-on work, and is eager to develop their skills across different areas of construction and maintenance. You will be part of a team as well as sometimes working individually to ensure the smooth operation of building and repair activities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing repairs and installations using appropriate techniques and safety procedures
- Install, maintain and repair basic groundworks to ensure proper drainage.
- Execute basic masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, or concrete repairs with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently for various tasks across trades.
- Support fabrication activities by cutting, shaping, or assembling materials as required for projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, masonry,basic groundworks
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and maintenance roles.
- The ability to, at times , interpret technical drawings or specifications is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently.
