As we continue to grow our presence in Wales, we are looking for an experienced and qualified Residential Conveyancer to join our team in Caerphilly.
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, providing clear advice and regular updates to clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other parties involved in the transaction.
This is a hybrid position, offering a combination of office-based working in Caerphilly and working from home.
You will join a supportive and ambitious firm where your experience will be valued and where you will have the opportunity to play an important part in the continued growth of our Welsh conveyancing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Managing remortgages and transfers of equity
- Reviewing contracts, title documentation, searches and mortgage offers
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
- Keeping clients and introducers regularly updated
- Working closely with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors
- Ensuring files comply with regulatory, lender and internal requirements
- Delivering a consistently high standard of client care
Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
- Have strong residential conveyancing experience
- Be confident managing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Have a thorough understanding of freehold and leasehold conveyancing
- Be organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and third parties
- Be comfortable working independently while contributing to a supportive team
- Have a strong commitment to client service and progressing transactions efficiently
Experience dealing with Welsh property transactions would be particularly beneficial.
