Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential, commercial, or hospitality environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Change bed linens and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen and clothing
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored appropriately after use
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests promptly and courteously
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or schedules as required
