Role: Electrician
Salary: £16.50 Per Hour (Plus £5.00 Per Hour Bonus)
Typical Earnings: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum
Location: Rotherham – UK travel required
Hours: Full Time
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday (With Occasional Weekend Work)

The role:
Our client is recruiting for a fully qualified Electrician to join their growing team, delivering commercial electrical projects across the UK. This is a varied, hands-on role involving regular nationwide travel and overnight stays, working as part of a small team across commercial, industrial, leisure and corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works.
- Complete electrical testing and associated documentation.
- Work across commercial sites throughout the UK.
- Ensure work complies with electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Deliver consistently high standards of workmanship.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
- Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Work occasional weekends depending on project requirements.
The successful candidate:
- Fully qualified Electrician with proven commercial electrical experience.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification / Gold ECS Card – essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the UK.
- Comfortable with regular overnight stays.
- Flexible regarding occasional weekend work.
- Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative on site.
- Sociable and personable, with strong communication and team-working skills.
- Professional approach with pride in delivering high-quality work.
Desirable:
- Enhanced DBS – this can be provided if required.
- Industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with lighting and emergency lighting installations.
- Additional relevant electrical qualifications.
