We are currently recruiting for a talented and dedicated Sous Chef for the Allerton Manor Golf Club.
Set in the beautiful grounds of Allerton Manor Golf Club, are three unique hospitality venues. The Old Stables Restaurant, Fletcher's Sports Bar/Beer Garden, and the Hay Loft. As well as serving food 7 days a week, Allerton Manor Golf Club also offers these unique range of locations for a variety of events from weddings through to all life celebrations and corporate functions.
The successful candidate will work as a part of close-knit team, and assist the Head Chef in leading the Kitchen to consistently deliver the highest standards of food service, exceeding guest expectations and set budgets.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include and not limited to:
- Responsible for helping to maintain a customer-focused culture that supports the company values and goals of profitability and food quality.
- Positive working relationships to be established and maintained with colleagues throughout the golf club.
- Responsible for the leadership of the team and individuals in the head chef’s absence.
- Maintain and inspire complete knowledge of food menus and trends.
- To comply with all food regulations as laid out in the company food safety policy.
- To assist with the food stock take in order to ensure efficient cost control.
- Responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of the kitchen and back of house.
- Conduct daily briefings with the kitchen teams.
Because of the high standards and the demanding nature of this job, the successful candidate will need to have relevant catering industry qualifications and experience to be considered for this role.

Additional Information:
Previous experience working in a similar position in fast paced pubs/bars/restaurants and dealing with high volume covers is desirable.
Proof of eligibility to work within the UK is required and applicants must live within easy travelling distance from Allerton Manor Golf Club.
