Job Title: Yard Trainee

About Us:
We are a family owned and run national haulage company, with 4 depots across the UK and our Head Office in Dyce, Aberdeen. We are looking for a Yard Trainee to join our team in Dalgety Bay. You will be working in our yard in Dalgety Bay in an operations focused role. Full training will be provided for this role and we welcome applications from all levels of experience. There may be an opportunity for the right candidate to progress further and gain a class 1 licence with a full time driving position available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily fork lift operation
- Yard maintenance
- Ensuring a tidy and safe work place
- Communication with customers and company drivers arriving on site
Requirements:
- Full driving licence
- Forklift experience and licence - desirable
- Previous experience withing a yard position – desirable
- An open attitude to learning the role and the haulage industry
