We are an independent and highly acclaimed business of two venues; a Good Food Guide top 100 pub just outside Rye and a MICHELIN guide listed neighbourhood restaurant in the centre of Rye.

Front of House Team Member Requirements:
- Whilst full training and guidance will be given throughout to help to succeed in your role with us previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- A genuine passion and interest in food and drink. We take this very seriously and is an integral part of our selection process.
- A willingness to learn and develop. There is much room for growth within the business.
- Must be able to drive or have a reliable method of transport to get to and from work. The Plough is a five minute drive from Rye with no public transport links. The Union is a 5 minute walk from Rye train station.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take and process customer orders accurately while providing menu recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and serving.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Manage time effectively to provide efficient service during busy periods.
