Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials according to detailed specifications.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding and welding to join metal components securely and accurately.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication processes.
- Measure materials precisely using basic math skills to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate fabrication machinery safely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Assist in assembly of finished parts into larger structures or systems as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques and welding methods.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Experience working with sheet metal and understanding of fabrication processes.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and precision.
