The Bird in hand is a busy independent pub with a large bar and snug area, two restaurants, and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Due to the continuous expansion, we have a number of vacancies for Front of House management team.
Job Role
- Enrich the existing management team to exceed customers’ expectations with a memorable eating experience.
- Responsible for the quality standards delivered by all Front of House staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction by making sure they receive prompt and friendly customer service.
- Organising workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant regulations and ensure compliance among their team.
- Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching/training.
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Competently run delegated section of the Front of House.

- Applicants should have previous experience in a customer facing role the hospitality industry along with experience of staff management.
