Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage time effectively while navigating various routes. The Courier will operate a van that is either a manual diesel ( can be supplied by you at a higher rate of pay) or a company electric automatic vehicle.
£100 attendance bonus will be paid upon every 3 months of complete working weeks.
Duties
- Safely drive a van to deliver packages and documents to specified locations.
- Perform loading of own vehicle .
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- light and small parcels only, nothing over 5kg.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing deliveries.
- Basic manners and communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
