We're looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team and help create a brilliant in-store experience for our customers.
The Role
As a Retail Assistant, you'll be the friendly face of our store, helping customers find the perfect toy, keeping our shelves looking their best, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a warm, helpful attitude
- Operate the till and process payments accurately
- Restock shelves and maintain attractive, tidy displays
- Open and close the store, including basic cash handling procedures
- Help with stock deliveries, pricing, and stockroom organisation
- Answer customer queries in person and by phone
- Support seasonal displays and promotions (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Summer)
- Keep the shop floor clean, safe, and welcoming
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, outgoing personality and genuine enjoyment of working with the public
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and giving change
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not essential — full training provided
- Flexibility to work weekends and during busy seasonal periods
Pay: £12.71-£17.14 per hour
