Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a particular focus on baking. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries and all the preparations needed for them.
- Follow recipes and adjust ingredients as necessary to meet production needs.
- Ensure all baked goods are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality output.
