About the Role
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, education and safeguarding are maintained.
You will lead, motivate and develop your team, maintain compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements, build strong relationships with parents, and ensure every child receives the very best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the nursery.
- Ensure full compliance with the EYFS Framework and Ofsted requirements.
- Recruit, mentor and develop the nursery team.
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and external professionals.
- Monitor nursery performance, occupancy and quality standards.
- Promote continuous improvement across the nursery.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
✔ Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
✔ Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above is advantageous).
✔ Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and Ofsted standards.
✔ Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
✔ A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children's development.
