TopBinz Cleaning Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Mobile Cleaning & Hygiene Operative to join our growing team based in Yate.
We provide professional cleaning and hygiene services to both residential and commercial customers, covering wheelie bins, food waste containers, recycling containers, commercial bins, bin storage areas and external waste areas.
This is a mobile, hands-on role suited to somebody who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently while representing a professional customer-facing business.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Residential wheelie bin cleaning and sanitising
- Cleaning food waste caddies and recycling containers
- Commercial wheelie bin and waste container cleaning
- Cleaning commercial bin stores and waste storage areas
- Pressure washing and general external cleaning
- Using professional cleaning and sanitising equipment
- Operating our mobile cleaning equipment safely
- Correctly containing and managing wastewater from cleaning operations
- Following environmental and health & safety procedures
- Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean, organised and ready for use
- Following scheduled routes and completing jobs efficiently
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Reporting any problems or maintenance requirements
- Taking pride in leaving every site clean and presentable
Working Hours
- Start times from 7:00am
- Typically 10-hour working days
- Work will be based from Yate
- Routes will cover residential and commercial customers across the surrounding area
- Working hours may vary depending on routes and commercial customer requirements
Pay
£14.00 per hour
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be over 25 years old due to vehicle insurance requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be confident driving a commercial van
- Be comfortable undertaking physical work throughout the day
- Be happy working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be professional when dealing with residential and commercial customers
- Be willing to follow health, safety and environmental procedures
- Be able to safely use pressure washing and cleaning equipment after training
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, pressure washing, exterior cleaning, waste management, facilities services or mobile cleaning would be advantageous, although full training can be provided to the right person.
