About the Role
Hydrosphere Innovations Ltd is seeking a reliable, highly organised and motivated individual to join its growing team in rural Kent as its Operations & Compliance Administrator.
This varied and vital role will sit at the heart of the business and cover customer service, compliance, purchasing, logistics, and office administration activities.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, highly computer literate, engage proactively with the business and demonstrate a positive attitude.
They need to be capable of managing multiple tasks in a busy environment. If you enjoy being organised and ensuring everything runs smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
- Candidates that live within a reasonable commuting distance of TN17 are preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and provide a professional first point of contact for customers, licensees, suppliers, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate company records and administrative systems.
- Support Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Management activities through audit-ready record keeping and administration.
- Carry out and record weekly fire alarm tests and basic fire safety checks.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment returns and coordinate freight and transport arrangements for deliveries.
- Engage proactively with the Resources Team
- Process and oversee purchase orders and supplier administration.
- Assist with invoicing queries and liaise with the finance team.
- Prepare reports
- Support pricing work on sales and rental items.
- Order office supplies, consumables, and other sundry items.
- Ensure that the office environment is kept clean, organised, and professional.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the smooth running of operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally some previous experience in an administrative, coordinator, office support, or similar role.
- Exceptional organisational, recording keeping and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Highly computer literate with excellent Microsoft packages particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

- Experience with purchase order processing and invoicing administration.
