Job Description
Class 2 Grab Driver or an established Grab Driver Team to join our Utilities Reinstatement Division.
Based from our Northamptonshire depot, you'll be working on long-term utility contracts, with approximately 80% of the work taking place across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas.
The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting our utility reinstatement operations by:
- Operating a Class 2 Grab Lorry safely and professionally.
- Collecting aggregates from approved suppliers.
- Transporting and tipping inert material from our major projects.
- Completing your daily programme of work using our electronic job management portal.
- Carrying out reinstatement works on highways and private properties where required.
- Topsoiling and seeding reinstatement areas.
- Working in accordance with company Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Health & Safety procedures.
- Providing a professional service while representing Prestige Pipelaying JV Ltd on site.
What We're Looking For
- Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- NRSWA (Street Works) qualification preferred.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful applicants must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening as part of the induction process.
