Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including commercial establishments and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors while ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with laundry services when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless operation within the establishment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina is required for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning techniques and equipment usage are highly valued.
