Chef in busy daytime only coffee shop restaurant
Stansted Park sits at the gateway to the South Downs National Park, between Chichester and Portsmouth. Its’ many attractions offer a great family day out and Stansted Park Garden Centre is a central part of the visitor experience. The Gardeners Kitchen seats 200 in a spacious, open plan setting, including covered outdoor seating.
We serve high quality, high volume, homestyle food for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and we are now looking for an additional chef to complement our existing team.
We are a seven day a week business and alternate weekend working will be required. Sociable hours; no evening work.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure quality of food provision to every customer.
- Assist with preparation of homemade soups, pies, scones, quiches and cakes.
- To act as part of the catering team
- To help ensure we meet all statutory requirements, including COSHH, HACCP and Environmental Health where appropriate
Essential Skills
- Previous catering experience.
- A team player with good communication skills, who enjoys working in a busy environment.
- Punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Good personal hygiene and a smart appearance.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
